17th Century Rummer glasses were often depicted in still life paintings of their time in the Netherlands.
While eating without cutlery, the raspberry prunts on the handle of the wine glasses would function as anti slip for the dining guest’s greasy hands.
Dug out of the ground, these shards are cut and polished and set in silver.
